IN DIEM Abogados Receives the Emilio Castelar Award for Its Commitment to Justice<\/h2>\n\n

On September 28, 2018<\/strong>, at the headquarters of the Cajasol Foundation in Seville<\/strong><\/a>, the eleventh annual Emilio Castelar Awards<\/strong> Gala 2018<\/strong> was held, bringing together national and international figures from the social, political, legal, economic, and cultural spheres.<\/p>\n\n

The prestigious Emilio Castelar Awards for the Defense of Freedoms and the Progress of Peoples<\/strong>, established in 2008, recognize work and the defense of fundamental rights inspired by the figure of the C\u00e1diz-born politician Emilio Castelar.<\/p>\n\n

Notable figures among the recipients in previous years include Uruguayan President Jos\u00e9 Mujica<\/strong>, Spanish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Alfredo P\u00e9rez Rubalcaba<\/strong>, French Councilor of State Sami Na\u00efr<\/strong>, journalist I\u00f1aki Gabilondo<\/strong>, as well as organizations such as Save the Children<\/strong>, the National Confederation of Social Economy Enterprises, and the Guatemalan Women\u2019s Association, among many others.<\/p>\n\n

The 2018 Gala honored Jon Sistiaga<\/strong>, Jes\u00fas Eguiguren<\/strong>, Jes\u00fas Calleja<\/strong>, Patricio Farcuh<\/strong>, Rozal\u00e9n<\/strong>, as well as the Don Bosco Foundation, Canal Sur, and Memoria Hist\u00f3rica. The gala featured a performance by singer Clara Montes<\/strong>, who presented her latest album, *Del alma a Lorca*<\/em>, in tribute to and memory of the Andalusian author. <\/p>\n\n

IN DIEM Abogados<\/strong> was fortunate enough to attend the 2018 Gala and, ultimately, had the honor of receiving the Justice Category Award<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n
