The goal of Abogados IN DIEM<\/strong> has been to provide information about the situation currently unfolding in Coria del R\u00edo<\/strong> as a result of the toxic gases<\/strong> circulating through the sewer system.<\/p>\n\n

These gases are affecting hundreds of families, yet the problem is not being addressed by the government or the relevant companies.<\/p>\n\n

According to reports available from IN DIEM<\/strong>, the following components have been identified: toluene, hexane, n-heptane, n-octane, j-octane, phenol, dichloromethane, trichloroethane, trichloroethylene, tetrachloroethylene, and dimethylacetamide<\/strong>. The situation is alarming. We thank Telecinco<\/strong> and Cuatro<\/strong> for the commitment they have shown to all the affected residents. <\/p>\n\n

We believe it is essential that the City Council, the companies involved, and the Regional Government of Andalusia address the situation in the most effective way possible\u2014both from a public health perspective, by establishing an action plan to protect those affected with the help of a specialized interdisciplinary team, and by implementing preventive measures.<\/p>\n\n

Furthermore, it is essential that all potential causes and sources of the gases be thoroughly investigated in order to put an end to the toxicity and its adverse health effects.<\/p>\n\n

Abogados Coria del R\u00edo IN DIEM<\/strong> is actively working with residents on the Coria del R\u00edo City Council\u2019s Public Safety Committee, in the administrative proceedings, before other authorities and public agencies, as well as through the established platform and other legal means of protection for those affected.<\/p>\n\n
