Investment Forum for Entrepreneurs and Businesses

IN DIEM Abogados actively participated in the Investment Forum for Businesses and Entrepreneurs held on February 8 and 9, at Tekniker Headquarters.

Key achievements of the Forum include the following:

• Investment Capacity: In total, the profiles participating in the EBM represented an investment capacity exceeding 100 million Euros
• Total number of participating startups, entrepreneurs, and professionals registered for the event: 121
• Total final participants: 75
• Total bilateral meetings held: More than 50 bilateral meetings took place between investment funds, investors, business angels, and participants
• Venture Capital Investment: 1.4 in various investments from participating funds
• Venture Capital Investment projected for the expansion and consolidation phase of 3 selected startups: 5 to 7 million after the financing round already held.
• Projects in business and investment phase after the EBM: 10 currently, another 2 under review
• Acceleration: As a result of this forum, one of the fundamental objectives was the acceleration and generation of business with corporate and reference clients to boost business development. Thus, participating startups, spin-offs, and companies have held meetings over these 3 months with corporates such as: Mercedes Benz, Pascual, Pastas Gallo, Carrefour, Media Markt, Heineken, Pikolinos…
• Impact: Press coverage in all Basque Country media (Deia, Correo, Diario Vasco), as well as radio stations (Cadena Ser, Radio Euskadi, etc.) (Impact dossier and media clippings available upon request). Event website (the new one is currently being prepared): Previous and subsequent entries: 35,000 page views and over 15,000 visits.
