Coria del Río Lawyers: Tele 5. Vive la Vida.

On December 17, 2017, we appeared on the program T5 Vive la Vida, hosted by Toñi Moreno, with Sergio González, and featuring Ángel José Del Pino Ibáñez from our team. The objective of IN DIEM Lawyers has been to report on the situation in Coria del Río resulting from the toxic gases circulating through the sewage network. These gases affect hundreds of families, yet the issue has not been resolved by the administration or the competent companies.

According to reports available to IN DIEM, the following components have currently been identified: Toluene, Hexane, n-Heptane, n-Octane, j-Octane, Phenol, Dichloromethane, Trichloroethane, Trichloroethylene, Tetrachloroethylene, and Dimethylacetamide. The situation is alarming. We thank Tele 5 and Cuatro for the commitment they have shown to all the affected residents.

For us, it is essential that the City Council, the companies involved, and the Regional Government of Andalusia address the situation as effectively as possible, both from a health perspective—by establishing an action plan to protect those affected with a specialized interdisciplinary team—and by implementing preventive measures… while also ensuring that all potential causes and origins are thoroughly investigated to end the toxicity and its impact on health.

IN DIEM Coria del Río Lawyers is actively intervening with residents, in the Coria del Río City Council Security Board, in administrative proceedings, before other instances and public administrations, as well as in the established Platform and other legal protection means for those affected.
